He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Theresa Thomas; his parents, George Thomas and Katherine Hein Pitre; his siblings, Claude Thomas, Dale Thomas, Donald Thomas and Hope Mollier; and his grandson Brandon Lala.
He is survived by: his children, Roger H. Thomas Jr. (Audrey), Theresa Thomas Lirette (David) and Pamela Thomas (Hades); his brother Phillip Thomas; his grandchildren, Christina Thomas Vaughn (Eugene), Christopher Thomas, Brittany Lala and Daniel Dubuisson (Brittni); and his great grandchildren, Jenna Comeau and Gabriel Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
