She is survived by: her children, John Wheat Jr. (Karrie), Sonja Leenders (Len), Tracy Wheat, Monique Wheat and Brittany Wheat; and her adoptive son Josh Steuber (Monica). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
