He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Marz Yager and Joseph Marz; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Furca and Joe Jones; and his pet Sissy.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Bowman Marz; his stepson Johnny King; his siblings-in-law, Linda, Joseph Ard, Loretta, Tim Young and Crystal Furca; his stepgrandchildren, Justin and Melissa King; his cousin Roseanna Edwards; his great-nephew Xavier DiMattia; and also, Easton and Olivia. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Carter Cemetery.
