She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Lionel Coates; and her parents, Emily Balfantz and Gottfried Balfantz. She is survived by: her brothers, Godfrey Balfantz Jr. (Bobbie), Ernie Balfantz (Rosemary) and Eddie Balfantz (Sandra); and her nieces and nephews, Angela Vancel, Kalen Methvien, Jolie Gregoire, Jake Balfantz, Hunter Balfantz, Erin Brettel, Evan Balfantz and Elisa Brown. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
