It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Thompson of Spearsville, Louisiana, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Elsie Thompson; his siblings, Herman Thompson, Newman Thompson, James Thompson (Preacher), Melvin Thompson, Margaret Gibson and Meme Boyington; his children, Jeffery Thompson, Roy Thompson, Troy Thompson and Zelma Marie Thompson; and his great grandchild Aubree Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Thompson; and his children, John Thompson, Jr. (Delores), Jimmy Anthony Thompson (Patsy), Jason Thompson (Rosanna), Elsie Cottrell (Jim), Lisa Phillips and Michael Bain. He is also survived by five siblings; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends.
