He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Anna Belle Risinger Bennett; and his siblings, Ralph Bennett of Coy Bennett, J. D, Billy Bennett, Ruthelle Davidson and Floy Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Maxwell Bennett; his children, Jennifer Wilkinson (Tony) and Jonathan Bennett; and his grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Wilkinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Church of Christ (131 Antioch Church Road, Spearsville, LA 71277). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery (131 Antioch Church Road, Spearsville, LA 71277).
