He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Rhodes and Hazel Brown Rhodes; his brother Marvin Rhodes; and his stepson Larry Garner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Pennie Rhodes; his stepdaughters, Heather Brigham and Stacy Toyer (Lionel); his grandchildren, Riley Brigham, Aubrey Brigham, Logan Toyer, Miles Toyer, Kohl Poche, Kristen Poche and Kameron Poche; and his siblings, Jim Rhodes (Betty) and Jane Barnes (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Farrar Funeral Home (312 Smith St, Farmerville, LA 71241). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Rhodes Cemetery.
