He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Michael Ferguson, Michael Poussard and Stephen Vance; his parents, Mark Deroche and Josephine Dufrene Deroche; his siblings, Jeanette Champagne, Floyd Deroche, Roland "Cotton" Deroche and Luther Deroche; his grandparents, Joseph Laurent DesRoches and Marie Alexina Bourg; and his great-grandparents, Theodule DesRoches and Adeline Boudreaux DesRoches.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Brooks-Smith, Theresa Poussard (Perry Sr.), Sharon Vance, Debora Deroche, David Deroche (Stacie) and Melissa Hernandez (Alexis).
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
