She was predeceased by: her parents, Jules S. Massarini Sr. and Claire Silbernagel; her husband John Michael Hansel Sr.; her granddaughter Christina Marie Davis; and her brother Jules Massarini (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, John Michael Hansel Jr. (Kathy), Barbara Hansel Davis (Bob) and David Anthony Hansel; her sisters, Marilyn Meehan and Janet Giroir; and her sister-in-law Carol Massarini. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery (501 Basin St, New Orleans, LA 70112).
