He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle Catherine Bourquard Barras; and his parents, Sanders "Chic" J. Barras and Inez Frances Marshall Barras. He is survived by: his daughters, Gina B. Holland, Annette B. Serpas (Joseph) and Darlene Barras; and his grandson Brandon J. Serpas. He is also survived by many cousins, and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
