It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip L. Palmer of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Boyd Palmer and Dorothea Amelia Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Luckett Palmer; his children, Donald Palmer (Alice), Dianne McLain, Melody Gelpi (Pat) and Russell Palmer; his grandchildren, David McLain (Jill), Laura Mayfield (Zeal), Aimee Gelpi, Austin Dartez, Lukela Palmer and Maci Palmer; his great grandchildren, Marshall, Nolan McLain and Ella Denham; and his pet Rex. He is also survived by his family and friends.
