She was predeceased by: her husband George Anthony Cordes, Sr.; her great grandchild Blake Michael Cordes; her parents, Leonard J. Blanchard and Edna Arabie Blanchard; and her siblings, Lawrence, Edward, Willie Blanchard, Anna Gleason and Madeline DeHarde.

She is survived by: her children, George Cordes, Jr. (Debbie), Greg Cordes and Cindy Alonzo (Chester); her grandchildren, George III (Tarah), Glenn (Melissa), Jason Cordes (Jaclyn), Amanda Brown (Wesley), Erica and Emily Alonzo; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Tristan, Peyton, Olivia Cordes, Alyssa and Alexis Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear friends.
