He is survived by: his wife Harriet Gail Owens; his children, Oliver Owens Jr., Bruce Owens Sr., Troy Owens Sr. and Mitzie Owens Payton; and his siblings, R. T. Owens and Theresa Scott. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren.
