With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael A. Badinger of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Badinger; his former wife Carmen Badinger; and his mother Myrl Nick Badinger. He is survived by: his father Albert Frances Badinger; his siblings, Mark, Billy (Lisa) and Cynthia Badinger; his nephew Alexander; and his niece Julia Badinger of New Orleans, Louisiana..

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cypress Grove Cemetery (120 City Park Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124).

We picked up where we left off, with endless discussions of science and technology. Mike's brilliance and creativity always amazed me.
