She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thompson and Arline Thompson; her husband Bruce McCartney; her son Jeffrey Leibbrand; and her siblings, John Thompson and Janice Wack.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Cooper (Max Ducote) and Kristin Faller (G. J.); and her grandchildren, Christopher Leibbrand, Rebecca Leibbrand, Sean Brown, Jessica Brown, Joseph Cooper, Jacob Leibbrand, Jude Faller, Luke Faller and Jonah Faller. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church - Slidell (1534 7th St, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (1534 7th St, Slidell, LA 70458). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
