He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Bennett and Carrie Lea Minter Bennett; his wife Carla Dudley Bennett; his sister Glenda Sue Strban; and his grandchild Cameron Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Bennett, Jacob Rutherford (Yijia), Lauren Walker (Scott) and Jacey Densmore (Denis); and his grandchildren, Kaleb Bennett, Averi Faust, Ella Faust, Audrey Rutherford and Aurelia Rutherford.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458).
