He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ray Gill and Mildred Griffis; and his brothers, Ronnie Gill and Danny Gill. He is survived by: his wife Myra Anna Mendoza Gill; his children, Clinton Ray Gill (Jennifer) and Susan Ann Leverette (Tracy); his granddaughter Brittany LeAnn Leverette; his great grandchild Kaiah ElliAnn Leverette; his brother Lonnie Gill; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Mendoza and Jill Mendoza.

His contributions to the industry were significant, and he was respected by colleagues and clients alike for his expertise and reliability.
