With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwen A. Litzenberger of Slidell, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar J. Maresma and Earline Maresma; and her grandson Brett McCraney. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Alexander (Dennis) and Michael Litzenberger; her stepchildren, John Litzenberger Jr. and Karen Dauterive (Tim); her grandchildren, Lexus Edwards (Devon), Jesse Salisbury, Courtney Litzenberger, Lauren and Jordyn Alexander; and her siblings, Michael Maresma (Susan) and Mary Strecker (Bill). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
