He is survived by: his stepparent Shirley Ward; his siblings, Sheryl Taffolla and Hugh Thomas; his wife Bonnie Skinner; his sons, George E. Skinner III (Erica) and Richard Skinner (Emily); his grandchildren, Sean, Maverick, Henry, Colten, Oliver and Baby Beckham; his father-in-law John Julian; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Julian, Brigette Julian and Connie Wilder; and his nieces, Shanon, Angela and Sheena.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd, Slidell, LA 70460).
