He was predeceased by: his wife Shinayo (Nishimura). He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Farrar Gehring (Richard) of Katy, TX and Stephanie Farrar Stemmler (Robert) of St. Louis, MO.; and his grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Gehring, Andrew Stemmler (Katlyn) and Madison Stemmler.
Frank was recognized nationally for his restoration of Mack trucks and for making hundreds of scale model trucks, many of which are now donated to the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum in Brooks, OR and to the American Truck Historical Society in Kansas City, MO.
