He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Shemack; and his parents, Frank Shemack and Isabelle Shemack. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rose White; his daughters, Krystal Shemack (Christopher Andersen), Kristina Calecas (James Calecas Jr.) and Paula Bitely (Bruce Bitely); his grandson James Calecas III; his brother John Shemack; and his mother-in-law Evenlyn Columbel.
