He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Phillips and Louise Phillips; his wife Ruth B. Phillips; and his sisters, Edna (Hascal Bond) and Bernice (Ralph Oveal Pierce).
He is survived by: his children, Ronald "Mark" Phillips (late Caroline), Judy Phillips (Kurt), Alan Phillips, Susan P. Hickey (late Kenneth) and David Phillips (Theresa); his grandchildren, Lauren H. Tallo, Kristine Hickey, Kenneth Hickey, Jr., Daniel Hickey, Katelyne Hickey, Dawson Phillips and Gianna Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Malayna Hickey, Madison Dupriest, Cael Tallo and Beckham Tallo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, Louisiana.
