It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wesley Alford of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Matulich Alford. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Alford (April) and Carlye Alford; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Clavier, Fiona Simmons of Stella Alford, D. J, Marlye Duperon, Jett Fury and Ripp Fury; and his brother Malcolm "Burl" Alford (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
