He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Matulich Alford. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Alford (April) and Carlye Alford; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Clavier, Fiona Simmons of Stella Alford, D. J, Marlye Duperon, Jett Fury and Ripp Fury; and his brother Malcolm "Burl" Alford (Barbara).
