She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alphonse Pichon and Josephine Pena Pichon; and her siblings, John Patrick Pichon, Forrest Francis Pichon (Buddy), Joseph Grant Pichon, Claudette Ann Pichon and Mary Deanna Pichon Daubert.
She is survived by: her husband William John Abney (Billy) of Slidell; her sons, Charles S. Abney (Karla), Eric J. Abney (Noelle), Jeffery A. Abney (Amy) and Brian W. Abney; her grandchildren, Wesley (Kayli), Emily, Logan, Blakely, Drake, Dane and Dawson; her great grandchildren, Lyla and Walker; and her sister Therese Marie Pichon Fonte (Tessie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church (58203 LA-433, Slidell, LA 70460). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
