She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bernard, Jr.; her parents, Artemise Ezidore Williams and Marshall Williams, Sr.; and her siblings, Annie Lee Emory, Priscilla Williams, Norma Williams, Murray Williams, Sr. and Norman Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Lynn Bernard, Sandra Bernard Lucas, Kaylyn Bernard and Joseph Bernard, III; her grandchildren, Marcus Bernard, Alfred Bernard, Aron Bernard, Andrew J. Clark, Cymone Richardson, Sanai Richardson, Jala Bernard, Jalen Bernard and Jalei Bernard; her great grandchildren, Andrew J. Clark, Jr., A'lani Clark and Ayden White; her niece Charlotte Jones; her friend Eva Mae Youngblood of Mississippi; and her siblings, Marshall Williams, Jr., Sidney Williams, Randy Williams and Stella Ann James of Laplace, LA. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
