It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Russell Fisher of Slaughter, Louisiana, born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Fisher; his parents, Russell Fisher and Viola Fisher; his siblings, Bert and Raymond Fisher; and his grandson Matthew Blum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cara Bostick (Billy) and Patti Harrell (Denny); his grandchildren, Meghan Phillips, Holly Walker and Justin Walker; his great grandchildren, Cade, Luke Phillips, Rylen, Viola, Alex Walker, Addilyn and Anistyn Cooper; and his sister Martha Bridges.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
