Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Clay Maglone III (Slaughter, Louisiana), who passed away at the age of 71, on December 26, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Bernard, Jr. and Maxine McCoy Maglone. He is survived by: his son Noah Bernard Maglone (Katie); his sister Rebecca Maglone LeJeune; and his significant other Shari Richard. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Slaughter UMC Building Fund.

“I just started searching for information about Clay. I called him Mac as we went through Navy boot Camp and first duty station. He was a good friend and looked after me as I was only 17. We had some good times in Hawaii and managed to survive. I remember one time after watching Cool Hand Luke I talked him into betting how many boiled eggs he could eat. Needless to say it didn't go well for him. I will always remember him as a great friend and ship Mate. Morris Rudick”
