He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Rose Mitchell; his daughter Margaret Sizemore; his parents, Sam Ferguson and Mary Jane Ferguson; and his brothers, Joseph Mitchell, Jr. and Donnie Ferguson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Samuel Ferguson (Gloria) and Debbie Goodrich of Farmville, VA; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Jeff Wolfe, Charlie Page, Kyle, Tiffany Mitchell, Sara, Zach Royer, Jody, Lynsea Mitchell, Kaitlyn, Tim Stephens, Kennis "Sibo", Heather Smith, Noah, Tarren Smith, Colton, Brianna Sizemore and Emily Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
