It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guynita Cash of Simsboro, Louisiana, born in Chesnee, South Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Cash; her parents, Guy Elder and Julia Elder; her brothers, Jerry, Larry and Barry Elder; and her brother-in-law Max Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Rocky Cash (Sharon) of Downsville and Lisa Holtzclaw (John Malcolm) of Choudrant; her grandchildren, Michael, Brandon Holtzclaw of Choudrant, Jacob (Chelsea) of Simsboro, Casey of Simsboro, Amber of Simsboro, Catey of Simsboro, Beau of Simsboro, Levi Cash of Simsboro, Neilie of Simsboro, AnnaBelle of Simsboro, Sawyer of Simsboro and London Cash of Simsboro; her siblings, Beverly Peterson of Chesnee, SC and Lucian Hicks of Oak View, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Elder of Chesnee, SC and Cheryl Archambault of New Jersey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mrs. Nita requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1127 Mondy Road, Ruston, LA 71270.
