It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Ray Salassi of Simpson, Louisiana, born in Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Elroy O. Salassi. He is survived by: his mother Ruby "" Salassi (May) of Simpson; his wife Patty Salassi (Grant) of Simpson; and his siblings, Dorra Dale Salassi of Saint Amant, Connie Langton (Pete) of Toledo Bend, Don Roy Salassi (Tina) of Toledo Bend and Louise Edelen (Bobby) of New Llano.
