We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2024, at the age of 78, Clyde Thayer of Simpson, Louisiana, born in Oneonta, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lynn Thayer and Velma Hamilton-Thayer; and his siblings, Paul Thayer and Marjorie Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thayer; his children, Jeanette Thayer-Stipek and Patrick Thayer; his grandchildren, Josey Stark, Hali Droddy, Peyton Thayer, Brody Thayer, Gracie Thayer and Scarlett Thayer; his great grandchild Elliette Hope Chapman; and his children-in-law, Jeff Stipek and Rachel Thayer.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to The Church of God in Simpson, LA, in honor of Clyde's memory.
