We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 77, Vera Rose Riley of Simmesport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jonathan Riley; her husband Rev. Willie Riley; her granddaughter Jessica Guillot; her parents, Paul Joseph and Madeline Joseph; and her siblings, Clarence Joseph, Leroy Joseph and Ivory Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Stelly of Simmesport and Shelia Riley of Simmesport; her grandchildren, Brittney Guillot, Jasen Paul Jr. and Jaylin Derosion; and her siblings, Patricia Young, Elenor Gorden, Ethel Cotton, Henrietta Joseph, Camille Dunbare (Jerry), Eddie Joseph, Theodore Joseph, Floyd Joseph (Annie), Donald Joseph (Peggy) and Larry Joseph (Beverly). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
