He is survived by: his wife Nina Brinkley (Plauche) of Simmesport; and his children, Sharon Marie Lemoine (Dwayne) of Marksville, Dana Ann Smith (Richard) of Pineville, Michael Jude Brinkley, Jr. (Angela) of Flora, MS, Sandy Lynn Piland of Alexandria and Christy Elizabeth Shriver of Pineville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
