He is survived by: his wife Frieda Maxine Johnston of Simmesport; his children, Lonnie D. Johnston of Macy, IN, Taharka Johnston of Walker, LA, Brenda Hunter of Durham, NC and Linda Conrad of Toledo, OH; his stepchildren, Marie Deville of Melville, LA, JoyceAnn Bordelon of Simmesport, LA and Hugh Paul Bordelon of Zavalla, TX; and his brother David Johnston of Olathe, CO.. He is also survived by grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
