He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Turner and Leaster Harrell Turner; his siblings, Martha Turner, Isaac Turner, Walter Turner and Silton Turner, Sr.; and his stepdaughter Joyce Jackson.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Eddie Mae Williams and Hazel Redmond; his stepchildren, Tammy and Keith Redmond of Lake Charles, LA.; his wife Shirley Savoy-Pitts Turner of Lake Charles, LA; his daughter Shawanda Turner; his sisters, Myrtle Dupar of Simmesport, LA, Annie Mae Saltier of Marksville, LA and Mae Bertha Loyd (Willie) of Lake Charles, LA; his stepchildren, Jackie Jefferson and Dwayne Pitts of Lake Charles, LA.; his godson Tavorice Turner of Dallas, Texas; his grandsons, Marquis Turner, Sr. and Edrick Turner; and also Cynthia Augustine of Simmesport, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
