With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Buie Jr. of Simmesport, Louisiana, who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Buie and Rubie Buie; and his brothers, Larry, Charles, Clarence, Nathaniel, Ruffus and Robert Buie.
He is survived by: his daughter Shanel Morgan-Jackson (Felix); his siblings, Deborah Weathers (Lloyd) and Sam Buie; his grandchildren, Tyrone Morgan, Tyrin Morgan, Diara Jackson and Zaji Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Tyreion Morgan, Lauryn Morgan and Lennox Morgan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extend family and friends.
