She was predeceased by: her father Reverend H. Y. Wright, Jr.; her siblings, Leroy Wright, Reverend Henry Wright III, Onelious Wright, Sr., Clifton Wright, Fredrick Wright and Verna Mae Gilbert; and her son-in-law Otis Thompson.
She is survived by: her close friend Raymond Scott; her daughters, Carla Lynette Wright of Baton Rouge, LA and Charlotte Andrea Wright of Simmesport, LA; her adoptive daughter Ke'Iree Simmons of Houma, LA; her grandchildren, Sherlyn Wright of Baton Rouge, LA, D'Litra Wright of New Roads, LA, Tedrick of Simmesport, LA and Mecola Wright of Simmesport, LA; her great grandchildren, Ajhani, A'Nijah, Jaioni, A'Jhari, A'Nhari, Jai'Ahri, Jer'Myni and Kohen; her siblings, Clynethia Anderson of Simmesport, LA, Melvenia Brady of Baton Rouge, LA, Cleveland Wright of Simmesport, LA and Reverend Clayton Wright (Stephanie) of Houston, TX; her sisters-in-law, Lorena Wright of Simmesport, Willie Mae Wright of Batchelor, LA and Debra Wyatt-Wright of Baton Rouge, LA; and her godchildren, Marlania Wright, Loyalte Hicks, Lorryell Hicks, Denell Vincent and Lorenzo Sago. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
