He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Denell Dupar-Lindsey; his daughter Daylree Javon Lindsey; his mother Helen Curtis; and his granddaughter Jayln Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, DeCarla Lindsey of Mobile, Alabama, Deidre Lindsey Ransom of Mobile, Alabama, Dominique Lindsey of Dallas, Texas, Lois Anette Fox (Michael) of San Leandro, California, Sha-Von Denell Boone (Andre) of Tyrone, Georgia., Demarcus Lindsey (Connie) of Junctions, Illinois and Demond Lindsey (Sabrina) of Mobile, Alabama; and his sister Shelia Meyer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
