With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Andrew Anderson Sr. of Simmesport, Louisiana, who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Douglas "Jack" and Violet "Neatsie" Barr Anderson; his wife Rene Brouillette Anderson; his children, Pauline A. Daigre (Brian) and Douglas A. Anderson, Jr. (Carrie); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Zachary and Emily; his stepgrandchildren, Walker, Lola and West; and his brother Don Anderson (Adele). He was also cherished by two nieces and one nephew and many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in his honor to Simmesport United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 118, Simmesport, LA 71369.
