He is survived by: his sons, Clint Joseph Austin (Lisa Smith Austin) of Simmesport, Brent Joseph Austin (Kimberly Smith Austin) of Simmesport, Wayne Paul Austin of Simmesport and Charles Joseph Austin, Jr. (Sherri Moreau Austin) of Mansura; his sister Judy Rachal (Jessie) of Kenner; his grandchildren, Tiffany Veade (Jamie), Casey Foret (Leroy), Kandace Austin (Kurt Landry), Sandy Gaillard (Kerry), Brittany Sweeny (Kevin), Amanda St. Romain (Zack) and Kate Austin (Blake Ducote); and his great grandchildren, Ashton Veade, Gracie Foret, Abbie Foret, Kollin Landry, Rylee Sweeny, Hadley Gaillard, Harley Gaillard, Harvey and Austin St. Romain.
