She was predeceased by: her daughter Ellen Mae Pitts; and her parents, Walter Burk Pitts and Laura McCorkle Pitts. She is survived by: her significant other David Lemoine; her children, Lewis Yancey, Walter Yancey and Diane Pitts; and her granddaughter Olivia Palmer.
