She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Dale Slayter and Annie Mae Bartley Slayter. She is survived by: her husband Terry Wise of Sikes; her children, Tanya Hemphill (Quinn), Stephanie Desadier (Marcus), Emma Wise and Christopher Wise (Amber); and her grandchildren, Shelby, Jessica, Jerri, Nathan, Kelsey, Christian, Khloe and Haylen. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church (265 Hurricane Grove Rd, Sikes, LA 71473). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
