It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Lee Sharpling (Sibley, Louisiana), who passed away on June 10, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Lillian Hazel Sharpling (Wilks); and his siblings, Marjorie Martin, Helen Goodeaux, Marie Kennington, William Thomas Sharpling Jr. and William David Sharpling.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Sharpling Powell; his granddaughters, Brittany Powell and Ashley Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Martinez, Ava Martinez and Mason Martinez Driaza. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and family friends.
