He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack N. Washburne and Helen Payne Washburne. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Dr. Joe Washburne (Elizabeth) and Emily Washburne St Ruth (Paul); his grandchildren, Carlisle, Annalise Washburne, Jack and Pete St Ruth; and his siblings, Jack Washburne (Sue), Eugene Washburne (Kay) and Christy Desautels. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Broadmoor Presbyterian Church (1915 Grover Pl, Shreveport, LA 71105).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, 1915 Grover Place, 71105 or to the charity of one's choice.
