She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Lawrence and Travis Lawrence; and her brothers, Jimmy Lawrence and Travis "Buster" Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Jelks; her sons, Michael Meshell (Valerie) and Danny Meshell; her stepson Tony Lubcker; and her grandchildren, Landon Meshell, Macie Meshell and Collins Meshell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118).
