He was predeceased by: his parents, Waddie Asseff and Helen Elias Asseff; and his siblings, George, Sam, Robert Asseff and Mary Martien.

He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Creamer (Aaron) and John Asseff. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
