She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Shelton Vandiver and Mattie Louise Phillips Vandiver; her husband Billy Van Brown; her son William Thomas "Billy" Brown; and her brother William "Billy" Clifford Vandiver.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Grill (Keith) of Shreveport, LA, David Brown (Leta) of Bossier City, LA, Mary Leone (Mike) of Greenwood, LA and Betty "Peanut" Scott (Jeff) of Benton, LA; and her grandchildren, Michael Leone, J. D. Brown, Marty Leone, Jessica Brown Rodgers, Christian Brown, Joshua Scott, Daniel Scott, Jared Brown, Zachary Grill and William Walter "Wally" Hall Brown. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Shriner's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
