She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Wesley Barlow and Cecile Barlow; her husband Richard Ray Nolen; and her siblings, Jimmy Dans, Willie V. Murray, May Elizabeth DeVillier, Sarah Longa, Virgil Hendrix and Sattie Bonnette.

She is survived by: her son Kevin Scott Nolen; her granddaughters, Meghan Nolen, Lauren Nolen and Alexandra Nolen; and her brother Harold Barlow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sue's memory to an animal shelter of your choice in honor of her beloved dogs, Memphis and Marley.
