Twyla Asberry Bartlett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Twyla Asberry Bartlett of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Summerfield, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Carroll Asberry and Myrtle Lee McCullar Asberry; her husband Robert Bartlett; her children, Dennis Bartlett and Robin Bartlett; and her siblings, Mary Fern Ray and Bruce Asberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Laenger (Matt); her grandchildren, Paige Franz, Austin Laenger, Zach Laenger (Apple), Jennifer Merrell (Matt) and Chris Laenger; and her great grandchildren, Felix Laenger and Leona Laenger. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
