It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trudy Marie Hammer Tafaro of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Anthony Hammer and Henrietta Hammer; her husband Frank Tafaro; and her son-in-law Patrick Long. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Magee (Marshall), Karyn Long (Patrick) and Lori Wynne (Brian); her grandchildren, Lindsey Benefiel (Corey), Michael Long (Nicole), Owen Magee (Ashleigh), Mallory Magee, Brady Magee and Parker Wynne; her great grandchildren, Graham and Carter Benefiel; and her sister Cindy Seals (Billy).
Trudy worked for Pine Grove Electric in Mandeville before retiring during the pandemic.
